How long is my move going to take?

This is a quiet complex question since every move is different. You should provide us with as many details as possible regarding the amount of furniture, boxes, garden pots and items stored in the garage, so we can make a rough estimate on how long your more should take.

For larger relocations we prefer to visit your home and go through the whole moving process with you in person.

Apart from the amount of belongings you have, the other factor that significantly impacts the length of the move, is how difficult the pick up and/or drop off accesses are.

Having to walk a long distance from the truck to the front door of your old/new home can increase the time of your move.

Please try to reserve a spot for our moving truck as close to your home as possible. Our removalists will use dollies and trolleys to move your items as fast as possible.

We recommend to use 2 removalists for an averagely furnished 1-2 bedroom units with easy accesses. For any 2 bedroom unit or house with a lot of furniture or difficult access, lots of stairs or long walks from truck to the premises, we recommend to use 3 removalists or more. Please call us and we can determine what would be the most efficient number of movers for your job.

First of all, the best time for downsizing is the time of moving into your new home where you don’t want to carry all the unnecessary clothes, furniture, boxes that you have been storing for years and haven’t been using for a long time.

Try to go through your cabinets and garage and donate or sell what you can. We can help you with disposing all your unwanted belongings. Our friendly removalist team can collect the rubbish from your home before or after the main move.
